Welcome to The Red Dragon School of Martial Arts, a traditional
Chinese Kung Fu school teaching Hung Gar Kung
Fu and Yang Style Tai
Chi Chuan.
Hung Gar Kung Fu is a close range hard style that contains empty
hand forms, weapon forms, Jung Hay, Chi Kung, breathing and hand
strengthening exercises, and the lion's dance. The Hung Gar style
uses the movements of animals for self defense and to develop the
body, mind and spirit. These animals include the dragon, tiger, crane,
snake, and leopard. Each animal movement has its own specialized
attribute. The system is considered by some to be very practical
because it uses eighty to ninety percent hands which mean it is easier
to apply especially in adverse weather.

Tai Chi is a martial art within whose slow and gentle movements
are embodied vigor and force, part of the rich culture of China.
The movements are extended and natural, gentle and graceful, simple
and easy to learn. Tai chi offers both physical and mental benefits
no matter what your age and can reduce stress, increase flexibility,
improve muscle strength and definition, increase energy, stamina
and agility, as well as increase feelings of well-being and more.
Tai Chi is a complete martial art that can not only be used for improved
health and wellness, but for self defense.
Our spacious facility offers our students
mirrors, changing rooms, weights, training equipment and music. Having
a location in a mall
provides for easy access and parking as well as something to do while
the kids are in class. Owned by Sifu Bob Gott and his wife Ellen,
the Red Dragon School of Martial Arts is a family friendly place
to learn about the martial arts.
The Red Dragon School of Martial Arts is also a Bonsai clinic with
a variety of trees and supplies. Free educational clinics are held
each month by a Bonsai master with fifty years experience.
In addition to our top quality martial arts training, we offer a
full line of martial arts supplies, imported clothing, gifts, artwork
and more.
The school is located in the McKinley Mall near Sears. The first
