The School's Legacy and History
High on top of a mount Slung-San in
Honan Province, China sat the Shaolin temple. It was
here that the five animal styles of Kung Fu
originated. Leong Sil Jong entered the monastery at
the age of ten. He left fifty years later as the
highest priest of the Shaolin and Grandmaster of
Kung Fu. In his travels Leong Sil Jong happened to
enter the province of Wong-Nam. There he met a
wealthy nobleman who beckoned him to teach his frail
son Kung Fu. When the monk consented, the nobleman
had a school built where for the next ten years his
son Hue Lung Gong practiced Kung Fu under the
guidance of the monk.
